RUSSIAN WOODPECKER HUNTING CLUB

OFFICIAL PRACTICE TARGET

Thanks to Scott Dennis (AL7EM) in Alaska for supplying this poster and for allowing me to include it on this site.

Scott Tells me " Some of us would feed signals back to the Russians to get their gadget to move off our ham bands. (They defied WARC and simply operated wherever they desired).

We would record the signals and send them back. The transmitters would go elsewhere when we did it correctly. Others had better equipment and would synthesize the signals to the same effect..

The "Woodpecker Hunting Club" - probably marginally effective but great fun for all involved".
